Colgate University suspends men’s lacrosse team amid investigation

HAMILTON, N.Y. — Colgate University has suspended all athletic and social activities for the varsity men s lacrosse team for potential policy violations. According to News10NBC s Syracuse affiliate, an email sent to the campus community from university leadership said it was made aware of electronic communications among team members that indicated potential violations of policies in the university s student handbook. As with all student conduct investigations, the University does not predetermine any findings of responsibility or of outcomes.
