Seneca Falls man to face up to year in jail for sexual abuse of child — Rochester Community news

SENECA FALLS, N.U. A Seneca County man faces up to one year in jail after being found guilty of sexual abuse involving a 13-year-old child. Bryndyn Neel, 37, was found guilty by a jury Oct. 22 of forcible touching and sexual abuse. He will be sentenced Dec. 21 and required to register as a sex offender. According to the county District Attorney s Office, the abuse took place on July 1, 2020, at Neel s home. Neel previous served a year s sentence in the Seneca County Jail for a 2023 conviction of endangering the welfare of a child, involving a different child. “After 6 long years, Mr. Neel is finally facing justice for stealing the childhood of a 13 year-old girl,” District Attorney John Nabinger stated in a release. “For a child to stand up to the man who sexually abused her, and continue to stand up for herself for years, as the case goes through the court system, is simply put brave.” The post Seneca Falls man to face up to year in jail for sexual abuse of child appeared
