LEICESTER, N.Y. — Two people are charged with assault on a police officer, and another is facing separate charges following an investigation in Leicester Sunday. Livingston County sheriff s deputies say it all started Sunday when deputies were dispatched to a home on Mount Morris Road in the town of Leicester for the delayed report of a domestic incident that happened on Oct. 4. Deputies say they learned that Nathan May, 27, had gotten into a verbal and physical argument with a woman. They say he hurt the woman during the argument. Nathan was later found in the village of Mount Morris and arrested and charged with aggravated family offense, assault, and endangering the welfare of a child. While taking Nathan into custody, deputies say Bruce May, 52, and Montel May, 25, tried to obstruct deputies. As a result, Bruce and Montel were arrested and charged with assault on a police officer, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and harassment. All thre
